Majid Sabour, MD, is the founder and medical director of Gents Doctor, a men's health practice located in Beverly Hills, California. He considers it an honor to share his skill and expertise with male patients living in and around Los Angeles.
Dr. Sabour is a California and New York state-licensed and family medicine board-certified physician. He graduated from Zaporozhye State Medical University in Ukraine and then completed the family medicine residency program at the University of Columbia and Cornell at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
As an experienced physician, Dr. Sabour has over 25 years of clinical experience in a wide range of specialties within the primary care spectrum, from obstetrics and women's health to pediatrics and adult medicine, from acute care to chronic disease management, and even geriatrics.
Dr. Sabour developed an interest and subsequent passion for aesthetics and cosmetic medicine back in 2005 during a board review course where he took his first injectables and laser training. His approach to aesthetics is an integrative and holistic one. He understands that the key to a youthful and beautiful self is integral health and wholesome well-being.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Sabour's assessment of your overall health takes precedent to unpacking your cosmetic concerns and aesthetic needs. Many medical conditions, like hormonal imbalance and nutrient deficiencies, can lead to suboptimal skin appearance. Oxidative stress from daily activities, illness, radiation, improper nutrition, and environmental pollution can also lead to accelerated aging, adverse autoimmune consequences, and a slew of inflammatory processes, all of which can affect your appearance in the form of acne, fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, broken blood vessels, and so much more.
Dr. Sabour firmly believes that before desperately trying to make his clients look younger, he should first stop them from getting older.
